It is so important for each K9 to feel confident, safe and secure.
We love and treat your K9 just like we would our own.
Our staff are total animal lovers with exceptional skills and experience.

For the safety of all K9’s, a current vaccination certificate must be presented before any of our services can be employed.

Group service activites are only available to dogs that are
• social with other dogs and people
• de-sexed if over 6 months old

Our range of services is constantly expanding so if there is something you need that is not listed please contact us. We try to accommodate all your K9 needs.

Day Care

K9 Workouts is the largest (and friendliest!) doggy day care facility in Victoria.

Fitted out with fun in mind, our doggy day care centre has huge play areas, heaps of toys and play equipment, comfy beds, is fully climate controlled and has security fixtures throughout the building. We have daily activities, lots of fun playtime and the dogs make heaps of friends. After the few visits, people always comment how excited their dogs are on arrival.

An introduction day applies to all new K9’s, so we can assess their needs and personality.

We have 10 play areas, therefore we can split up the dogs based on their personalities and energy levels. Each playgroup has small numbers and we can customise our K9 activities to best suit. These play areas range from Juniors to Adults to the high energy Athletes, all the way through to the plush comfort of our seniors area.

Our daily activities are full of playtime, learning and stimulation, and individual attention is guaranteed.

*Bulk purchases are a one off purchase, and are flexible to be used across multiple visits. Expiry dates apply. **We can nurse post surgery, broken bones and other TLC cases (non-contagious only)

K9 Workouts is open Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm. Pick up and drop off is allowed anytime between these hours.

A late charge of $20 applies after 6pm sharp.

A late pick up may be booked for Tuesday and Thursday. 24 hours notice is required and a $10 charge applies for this service, which is available up to 7pm.

No appointment is necessary to tour our facility during our business hours. We are sure you will be impressed!

Some dogs are so over-excited when they get out for a walk that managing them becomes a chore and a stressful experience. All of our walks are training based, ensuring good manners and interactions in all situations. Clients regularly tell us how much more enjoyable it is to walk their dog since employing our services.

Individual Walks

These one-on-one walks are for the K9’s from your home, and can be tailored to meet your dog’s requirements. Walks are around surrounding streets where good manners are reinforced, including sitting at the curbs and not pulling on the leash.

$5 per additional dog applies for homes with more than 2 dogs.

Walks completed by one of our qualified and experienced dog trainers are an additional $10 per walk.

Play-Group

Multi Award winning dog walking service!

Play-Group is a group of up to four dogs, that go to various parks and beaches (where permitted).

Play-Group is an ongoing weekly booking, with a minimum commitment of one day each week. Each session runs for at least one hour and the dogs are picked up and delivered back to your home.

As Play-Group is off-lead, all dogs must come when called, and be sociable with people and other dogs. If your K9 is not quite at this stage but you would like to work towards being a Play-Group member, speak to us about our Training walks.

Boarding & Sleepovers

Do you need to go away but don’t want to leave your loved one in a kennel?

Here at K9 Workouts we offer a fantastic alternative to boarding kennels. Dogs that come to stay with us get to and play all day long and then, once absolutely tuckered out, can relax and enjoy dinner in their own doggie bedroom. Then, in the morning, it’s daycare again.

Before your K9 has a sleepover with us, they will need to spend at least 2 days in doggy day care first. This allows time to make friends and socialise, meet the staff and check out our playgrounds and facility. Then when you do go away, it is all a familiar environment. All K9s participate in our daycare services while boarding, where they are free to run and play, interact and socialise, hence the importance of trying out day care first.

Our K9 bedrooms are located at the end of each play area, so everyone stays in the familiar surroundings of their fun and action packed day. Fully climate controlled, all bedrooms have the option of a high quality raised frame bed or gloriously plush kennel. We supply loads of fresh bedding or you are welcome to bring your own. Long and short term stays are available.

Rather than changing diets, we like to keep meals the same as they are at home, so suggest all food is supplied by you. Please supply meals in portion size if they are to be kept in the fridge or freezer. Alternatively, we have Advance Premium foods available to purchase.

When your K9 stays with us overnight, Day Care rates apply during the day, and then it’s just an additional $5 to sleep in our luxury facility at night.

Home Care

K9 Workouts can care for all your pets, in their home environment. Your animals will enjoy the security and safety of their own surroundings, plus your home is also cared for.

The garden and litter trays are cleaned from the daily do's, dog bedding is shaken and remade, all water bowls are cleaned and anything else your pets require is done to keep their environment fresh and ready to be lived in. Being such animals lovers ourselves, we are familiar with looking after aviaries to hutches to aquariums.
We can also give medication, bring in the mail, water your pot plants, put the rubbish in or out and complete a security check of your premises.
We can check in on a pet that may be recuperating, or of course there is our ever popular lunch time visits for puppies, which include lots of stimulating play and training.

Additional charges may apply for multiple pet households.
Surcharges apply to weekends, peak periods and public holidays.
If your K9 is staying home alone, we must remember that companionship is vital. Therefore, our policy conditions are; it is essential to book either Walking or Day Care with your Home Care visit, when any dog is left at home alone for more than 24 hours.

K9 Parties

K9 party packs are a great way to celebrate your K9’s birthday or special occasion.

Our exclusive K9 party packs certainly create a fun day for your K9 and all their mates, plus it’s easy for the humans too, as we do all the work for you!

$95 K9 Party Pack includes -
• The party host K9 receives free day care with special attention and extra pampering
• An exclusive one hour party playgroup for up to 10 K9 guests
• All party games and activities
• K9 cake individually made with your dogs name in icing.
• Special party present to take home
• Plus all your K9 guests receive a take home party gift bag.

$65 K9 Party Pack includes –
• The party host K9 receives free day care with special attention and extra pampering
• An exclusive one hour party playgroup for up to 10 K9 guests
• All party games and activities

Guests: Of course your K9’s friends are welcome to attend the party.We can also include some friends already made at our facility. All K9’s that haven’t been to us before must bring a copy of their current vaccination certificate and fill out our form on arrival. Guests may stay for the day and pay for day care ($40 per dog) or at no charge, are welcome to come just for the party action. If you have five or more guests, the day care rate is discounted to $30 per dog.

The party: We take lots of party photos and, if included in your pack, have the K9 cake - yum! The two legged party guests are more than welcome to come back and join in with the party games and photo time plus watch the cake being completely devoured! The party time is confirmed when booking.

Booking details: We require the party pack payment to secure your booking. With less than the seven days notice prior to your party date, payment is strictly non-refundable. When booking a cake, please choose your flavor: beef & cheese or chicken & vegies! Also be sure to confirm the spelling of your K9s name for on the cake.

Photos: We are happy to take some photos for you (please supply camera) or you are welcome to take the photos yourself. For the safety of both humans and dogs, there is no entry to our day care section but you are more than welcome to come into the party area for a photo shoot.

Note: Guest must bring their vaccination certificate as we strictly do not let any dogs in without it. All dogs must arrive on a secure leash and collar (no chains) and be de-sexed if over 6 months old.

Socialisation Training

Socialisation Training encourages confidence and stability in even the most intimidating conditions. Anti-social behaviour can be towards other animals, machinery, motorbikes, children, skateboards and even vet inspections. Dog to dog aggression, over excitement, fears and phobias are all common problems we deal with. We work with your dog, introducing them gently to non threatening situations, encouraging the right manners and behavior.

When K9’s are socialised regularly, they become more confident and are far less likely to react in an inappropriate behaviour.
It is very hard to put a lesson time limit on Socialisation Training. If your dog needs more time, we feel it’s more important to encourage rather than push, so generally no additional charges apply – even if this takes all day!

Socialisation $60 per lesson

Private training lessons

Private training lessons are a one hour lesson that caters for specific problems and behavioural problem solving. We like to spend time teaching you and all the family members, including children, so we come to you at a time convenient for your family. Sessions are paid for as you need them, with no minimum commitment required. You just book what you need and start achieving fantastic results.

Private Training $120 per lesson

For those tight on time, the K9 Bus Service can make the world of difference. Our vans are fully air-conditioned and heated, and fitted with dog friendly, sturdy and secure barriers.

We can taxi your K9 to Day Care, or make that special trip you require to the vet or another location.

For the safety of all passengers, new K9s to Day Care are advised to settle in before booking the K9 Bus service.

The Day Care bus route times are:
AM between 8am - 10am
PM between 3pm - 6pm

The exact Day Care pick up times, depend on where you live and which route the bus needs to take. Therefore we are unable to take specific time requests for our Day Care bus service.

Taxi bookings are not always available within our Day Care bus route times, if sufficient notice has not been given.

When using our K9 bus service, delivery of your pet shop supplies, is free! Along with stocking Australian made Advance dry and wet foods, we are also pleased to be able to offer all premium dry food brands by special order – just let us know what your requirements are and we are only too happy to supply.
